At Waterlane Equine Vets we offer a complete first opinion service throughout Gloucestershire and North Wiltshire. We are an ambulatory practice with the added benefit of clinic facilities where we can perform radiographs, ultrasound scans, dental procedures and lameness work-ups if you do not have appropriate facilities at your yard. All of our diagnostic equipment is also fully mobile so we are equipped to carry out a full range of procedures in the comfort and convenience of your own yard if you prefer.

All of our vets are experienced in equine practice and bring with them a range of expertise and skills, from field anaesthesia and surgery, to poor performance examinations, to internal medicine investigations and stud work including artificial insemination. We treat a variety of horses from child’s ponies to 5* event horses and everything in between so you can be assured we will offer a top class service regardless of what level your horse or pony is at. We are also dedicated to offering the most up to date treatments and are proud that Dr Tim Watson is the Lead Veterinary Surgeon for Lipogems Equine (see below for more details).

We also carry out pre-purchase examinations both locally and further afield for existing clients. Pre-purchase radiographs can also be taken on site to suit buyer and insurer requirements.

At Waterlane Equine Vets we can also accept second opinion cases but in accordance with RCVS guidelines we will contact the first treating vet to discuss the case before any examination or treatment is carried out.
